WHAT IS A ‘WIDE CREATIVE’? We define a ‘wide creative’ in one of the 2 following ways: 1. someone who has a passion to pursue more than just one of the 4 disciplines mentioned above, or 2. someone who may only wish to practice one of those disciplines but believes that the others have something to teach them about their discipline of choice. Wide creatives are essentially storytellers, and as such, have much to learn from other storytellers. This class is an exercise in what we call Creative Cross Training.
Questions? Feel free to email me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org
Do I need to bring a specific project to each class? What if I’m not working on something at the moment?
-Monologues, songs, scripts and pitches are appreciated, but not required. If you’re not presently working on something (but would like to be), you’re in a place that all of us have been, and you’ll be welcome.
How much is each class?
- $30/class with a 4 class minimum. Prospective students are invited to audit one class at no charge.
What if I can’t afford it?
-I believe in accessibility and I never want money to be a reason someone can’t attend this class. Email me and I’ll be happy to try and work something out.
Why is there a 4-class minimum?
-Benefits of instruction require at least a month of focused work, not only for you but for the other students in attendance. Weekly attendance for 4 consecutive weeks allows for a sense of continuity and growth.
